1. About these Terms
These Terms apply to purchases made through our website. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Products and handmade variation
We sell handmade knives (including made-to-order/personalized and ready-to-ship items) and ready-to-ship machines. Because many items are handmade, small differences in finish, pattern, grain/lines, or surface details may occur. Product photos are representative, and natural variation from handmade production is not a defect.
3. Orders and acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We accept the order when we confirm it and receive payment (unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing). We may refuse or cancel an order if shipping is not possible to your destination, if we suspect misuse, or if there is an obvious error (including pricing or listing mistakes). If we cancel an order after payment, we refund the amount paid.
4. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website. Import duties, VAT/GST, customs fees, and any local charges are not included unless we clearly agree otherwise before you place the order.
5. Payments (PayPal and Wise)
We accept PayPal and Wise. For Wise payments, processing may depend on bank transfer timing. We do not store full card details. Payment services are provided by the payment providers under their own terms.
6. Production and lead times
Made-to-order knives require production time. Any stated lead time is an estimate and may change due to materials availability, production queue, and finishing requirements. For ready-to-ship items, dispatch time is typically shorter, but still depends on operational factors. We will communicate if a significant delay occurs.
7. Shipping, delivery, and customs
We ship worldwide via air courier (most often DHL Express or equivalent). Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Unless agreed otherwise before purchase, the customer is responsible for all import-related charges, including customs duties, VAT/GST, clearance fees, and local handling fees. If you are unsure about import rules or costs in your country, contact us before ordering.
8. Returns and cancellations
Made-to-order or personalized knives are produced to your specifications and are not eligible for “change of mind” returns.
For ready-to-ship (non-personalized) items, consumer return rights may apply depending on your location. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you generally have a right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days after delivery for non-personalized goods, subject to legal conditions and exceptions. To request a withdrawal, contact us at mmg.forge@gmail.com. Returned items must be unused and safely packaged. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the law requires otherwise.
Outside the EU/EEA/UK, returns of non-personalized goods are only accepted if required by applicable law or if we agree to it in writing before purchase.
9. Defects, damage, and claims
If an item arrives damaged or you believe it has a defect, email mmg.forge@gmail.com with a clear description and photos. We will review the case and agree on a solution based on the situation and applicable law. Solutions may include repair, replacement, partial refund, or refund.
10. Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty for material and workmanship defects from the date of delivery. The warranty does not cover normal wear, improper use, corrosion caused by incorrect care, accidental damage, modifications, third-party repairs, or misuse. Mandatory consumer rights in your country may apply in addition to this warranty and are not excluded.
11. Safety and legal compliance
Knives are sharp and can cause injury. Machines may require professional handling and protective equipment. You agree to use products responsibly and in compliance with local laws. You are responsible for confirming that purchase, possession, and import of knives and equipment are lawful in your country.
12. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for our products and services as required by applicable law. Where the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses where such limitation is permitted by law.
13. Intellectual property
All website content, product photos, descriptions, and branding are protected. You may not copy or use them without our written permission.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, while mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence may still apply where required. We encourage contacting us first to resolve disputes informally.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, operational, or business reasons. The version posted on the website at the time you place an order applies to that order.
